Aisle containment has two distinct advantages. First, it increases the cooling capacity and energy efficiency of the cooling infrastructure ensuring that the return air temperature to the cooling unit is high.

Second, the increased capacity, together with the separation of hot and cold air, makes it possible to cool higher heat loads per rack. This results is much lower operating costs and a tremendous increase in efficiency.
